Kirsten Smith

Kirsten Smith is a Chartered Governance Professional and has practised as a governance officer and company secretary for numerous clients for several years. This has included overseeing governance, secretarial and compliance requirements for multiple boards and their subsidiaries. She prepared for and arranged numerous board meetings, drafted policies, led governance training, dealt with statutory filings and ensured compliance with all the regulatory and other requirements.

Until recently, Kirsten was company secretary for the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council, Clean Energy Investor Group and HumanAbility Ltd. Prior to that, she was also board coordinator for Breakthrough Victoria, where she had an extensive role in supporting the chair and the board. Kirsten also has practical experience as a Director and Chair and writes regularly on important corporate governance issues.
