Optional Extras to Your Strategy Effectiveness Survey
We advise that both the board and executive team complete our Strategy Effectiveness Survey. In addition to offering additional perspectives, the resulting report helps illuminate differences in views between the board and executives, facilitating targeted actions where necessary.
Once you’ve chosen your Strategy Effectiveness Survey, simply select any optional extras from the list on the checkout page to add them to your cart.
Survey sent to executives and additional reporting
Gaining insights from both your executives and board members and understanding where their perspectives differ, adds significant value. The survey will be distributed to executives selected by you and your board members.
To maintain anonymity, extra reporting will only be provided if at least four executives respond to the survey. Comments from executives are consolidated with board member responses to safeguard the anonymity of executive feedback further.
Customisation
We will provide our full list of 30 survey statements in our framework order for you to review.
You can also ask us to adapt the wording of one or more survey items. You can even add your own survey items or ask us to design one or more for you.

Expert advice to the CEO or Chair
One of our experts will guide your CEO and/or Chair on interpreting and acting upon the Strategy Effectiveness Report. This advisory session will be conducted via video and typically lasts up to one hour.
Feedback from CEOs and Chairs indicates that our expert advice is highly valuable. During the session, the Chair can provide essential context and freely ask questions as needed within the allotted hour.
Preparation of an Executive Summary (and no interviews)
We will analyse the ratings and comments included in the benchmarked report. We will then prepare an executive summary of two or three pages that provide our insights and recommendations.
In preparing our executive summary, we will draw on our experience reviewing over 500 benchmarked board survey reports. We will design three or four recommendations that, if implemented well, will make the most positive difference to the board’s performance and effectiveness.
